Biodiesel
theARCproject is a 'Friend of Sundance Renewables' and we have enjoyed a long term relationship with this Workers Co-operative for many years.
As standard all diesel vehicles employed or contracted to work with theARCproject will run Biodiesel (where applicable*)
*Recommended for private light goods and commercial vehicles.
Biodiesel is NOT Straight or Used Vegetable Oil (SVO/UVO). Sundance BiOdiesel It is subject to EU regulation, testing and is rateable for fuel duty and VAT.
Locally produced Biodiesel IS sustainable, as the majority of base oil is reclaimed from UVO which is collected, refined and processed locally.
This supports both the end-user of the oil and the motorist.
Small scale production does not require the planting of virgin crops and the related issues of land and water resource management.
